Lent is a 40-day journey that leads us from Ash Wednesday (Feb 18th this year) to Easter Sunday (April 5th).
In Sunday School, we've been learning about the life of Jesus.
We've talked about his baptism, his temptaion, the calling of the 12 disciples, and the many miracles he performed. We've learned about Jesus' purpose and his messages of hope, love and salvation.
The Spring Session of Sunday School begins on Sunday, March 8th. We'll be learning about the final days of Jesus' life, and focus on
the meaning of his death and resurrection. After Easter, we'll study the Apostle Paul's conversion and his mission to spread the Gospel.
The last day of Sunday School will be on May 31st, and we'll conclude the year with a study of John's vision of heaven as written in Revelation 21-22.
